SBI - Transaction declined due to 057-TXN NOT SUPPORTED

Just a quick find and it's my first blog on the SBI payment gateway error - 057-TXN NOT SUPPORTED.
Which means your ATM card is not linked/activated to your Savings bank account.

When it occurs:

When trying to make payment using your SBI Debit card

2 ways to fix:

1) By contacting your SBI branch if you do not have Online Banking access
2) It's easy to fix if you an active online banking access to your SBI account. Follow the below steps:

  • Login to onlinesbi.com using your Username & Password
  • After successful login, Click on e-services > ATM Card Services > New ATM Card Activation > Enter your ATM card number > Click on Activate > Validate OTP received your mobile.
Now if you retry your payment, it should work! Happy shopping!
